Konono No1 at the GAMH
I saw Konono No1 play the Great American Music Hall last night. One of the best shows I have seen in a long, long time. Stood right up front and the sound was mesmerizing. Lots of indie kids attracted by the whole ‘congotronics’ buzz. The group played Coachella the next night, hopefully it will mean they get to tour the US again soon. I’ll be standing up front for the next show too. Photos will show up here and at flickr.
